ALLAN SMITHEE (perhaps not his real name) has worked in the film business for nearly 15 years. As a publicist he has orchestrated distribution campaigns for well over 60 movies and has on-screen credits as unit publicist for more than 20 feature productions. A member of the British Academy of Film and Television he currently develops scripts for a wide range of production companies and film bodies as well as consulting for clients as diverse as the Times newspaper and Film London (the city’s film body). He has worked with Al Pacino, Dennis Hopper, Kevin Costner, Mike Leigh and three of All Saints!
