I Want to Make a Difference

Discover your purpose in life and change things for the better
Tim Drake

Inspiration and advice to make a positive difference.

In the fast-moving world of today, how can an individual make a difference?

Most of us want to make a positive difference to the lives of our fellow human beings, but we’re not entirely sure how to go about it. In I Want to Make a Difference, Tim Drake explains the Make a Difference Mindset, an action plan to make us more effective at making a difference in our chosen domain. It offers us a voyage with a clear goal at its end. the Mindset creates an unshakeable inner confidence so that each individual can change things for the better.

You too can be a Difference Driver, a Difference Deliverer, or a Beneficial Presence – or even all three, at different times and in different contexts. You can make life better for your family, your colleagues, your customers – and not least – for yourself.

In clear language and using drawn examples, Tim Drake explains how we can discover our purpose, and in doing so find fulfillment and ultimately bring meaning both to our lives and the lives of others.

Chris Middleton, Managing Director, Sociovision Ltd

“An inspiring and practical book to help you weave past all the negatives trying to prevent you making a difference”
Peter Duncan, actor and Chief Scout

TIM DRAKE has been frustrated throughout his life because he has felt that he has a lot more potential than he is realizing. He has achieved things here and there – playing rugby for Cambridge University, co-founding and running several companies, founding and chairing CEO Think Tanks, co-founding a couple of charities – but he has always felt that he is still just a promising youngster. Speaking to business audiences around Europe, he gets the strong feeling that probably the majority of people feel, like him, that they have more to give – more of themselves to bring to their work, their family, their friends, and society in general.

His first book Wearing the Coat of Change shows that he has had setbacks too, and details of some of the lessons he learned bouncing back from them. In this uplifting new book he looks at practical ways to get better at fulfilling our potential, and helping to change things for the better.
